About
Bio/Description
Amélie Aussel is a researcher at the Inria Center of the University of Bordeaux and the Institute of Neurodegenerative Diseases in Bordeaux, France. Her work focuses on understanding the cellular and synaptic mechanisms leading to neural oscillations involved in cognition and pathology, through computational modeling. As part of this project, she is working on building a biologically realistic model of thalamo-cortical areas to investigate how their neural oscillations contribute to visual attention.
