About
Bio/Description

Chiara Caldinelli is a postdoctoral researcher in the Computational Cognitive Neuroscience Lab at UC Berkeley, working with Anne Collins. Her research integrates computational modeling with neuroimaging to understand how the brain flexibly learns and adapts rules in uncertain environments. She earned her PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience from Trinity College Dublin, where she investigated brain plasticity using neuroimaging in both adults and infants. Broadly, her work focuses on how neural systems change over time and in response to experience or injury, with a particular interest in the thalamus and its role in cognitive flexibility.
