About
Bio/Description
Kees McGahan is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Mathematics and Statistics Department at Boston University. His research involves developing mechanistic computational neuroscience models to study how cellular level physiology drives neuronal dynamics and processing capabilities. For the Thalamus Conte, he is modeling the role of the thalamus in visual signal filtering, rhythmic signal entrainment, and disease-driven cognitive dysfunction.
